You learn something new everyday!

Last lesson, Stephanie and i created a scratch clip. Stephanie started the creation with the idea of a ghost scaring a sprite. She added the two sprites, a ghost and an animal. However we encountered some problems. Stef wanted the background to be black, unfortunately the two sprites would be on two different black backgrounds whenver we tried, so we worked together in fixing this problem and succeeded and put them both on one. After this we, began by creating some movements and motions, in the ghost sprite, i learned some new things like, how to make the sprite glide to a specific position and back. Then we added some speeches and thoughts. We had thought that this would have been the end of our little movie, however this was not the case. Mr Cavil, came over to our desk and watched our production. He liked it but thought that we could make it more complex by forming it into a game. He showed us cool new ways to create a game out of what we had, which was actually really interesting. I learned so many new things, that it will probably take me ages to mention in this post. It was a very worthwhile lesson.
